Terri Hlubek is a Nationally Certified Piano Teacher who maintains a full piano studio in NW Oklahoma City (Hlubek Piano Studio). Terri holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance from Westminster Choir College, Princeton, New Jersey. She has studied piano with Phyllis Lehrer and accompanying with Martin Katz. Terri is a certified Kindermusik teacher. First Church of Christ Scientist, Midwest City, keeps her busy as an organist. In her spare time, she is found to be on the go as a “collaborative pianist”. Terri is Director of COMTA’s Kamp Keyboard, Director of COMTA’s Clavinova Ensemble Adventures, and Director of COMTA’s Christmas Clavinova Festival. She is currently the MTNA Director of Competitions, OMTA VP for Communications and the OMTA Past President Advisor.  She has held positions such as MTNA Certification Commissioner for the South Central Division, President of the Oklahoma Music Teachers Association, and President of the Central Oklahoma Music Teachers Association. She is the recipient of the prestigious 2017 Joy Carden Vanguard Award, was honored as a 2015 Music Teacher’s National Association Fellow, and has an OMTA Honorary Lifetime Membership. In 2021 and 2022, she was voted “Steinway and Son’s Top Piano Teacher” by Edmond Music.
